Sentiment Analysis

I am excited to share one of my recent projects where I conducted Sentiment Analysis using Tableau for Alpine Furniture, a fictional company specializing in home products.
The goal was to better understand customer opinions across 10 different products through a combination of qualitative and quantitative insights.
Here's what I did:
-I categorized product reviews into Positive, Neutral, and Negative sentiments to clearly highlight overall customer satisfaction trends.
-I visualized the Number of Reviews per Product Name to measure customer engagement across the product portfolio.
-I calculated and visualized the Average Rating per Product, providing an immediate view of which products performed better in customer satisfaction.
-I created a Word Cloud that showcased the most frequently used keywords in the product reviews, offering valuable clues into what customers cared about most.
Why is sentiment analysis important?
-Understanding customer feedback goes beyond counting reviews — it’s about listening to the feelings and experiences behind those numbers.
-Through sentiment analysis, businesses like Alpine Furniture can: Pinpoint exactly where customers are delighted and where they are dissatisfied.
-Businesses can identify recurring themes in product feedback.
-Businesses can focus on the right areas for product improvements.
-Businesses can tailor their customer service and product strategies to match actual customer needs.
I transformed raw customer review data into actionable business insights that can help companies improve product quality, enhance customer satisfaction, and ultimately, drive long-term success.
